Caution: Modifications to the factory installed brakes could possible result in failure or loss of brakes. This manual brake kit should be installed by certified mechanic. The installer and/or purchaser is RESPONSIBILE for any problems that may occur.
Remove master cylinder and brake booster.
Then remove the pedal assemble. The attachment point on the pedal assembly has to be moved up one inch. There is a dot in the second picture where the hole needs to be drilled.
I like to tach weld the nuts to the pedal assemble to make installation easier. This is not needed but otherwise it will take a second person to put the bolts thru the firewall and tighten the nuts.
One corner of the bracket is radius and needs to go against the firewall. Now you can put the pedal assembly back in, bolt the bracket to the fire wall, and then adjust and bolt the rod end to the pedal assembly.
It is hard to see but in this picture you can see the factory anchor point on the pedal and the rod end is 1" higher.
Now install the master cylinder hook up the brake lines and bleed the brakes.
